Briefing:
This page does not contain exactly the same information as the Japanese page. Since you can get much better information from other sites, such as Tom Morrison's Mac Flight Simulators and other good ones, I don't have to post rather poor information here. So I would only post my personal opinios about Mac flight simulators as well as the news whta's going on here in Japan. Also you can find some files which might be useful for you. Peace ;-)

NEVER MIND THE WINDOWS

What's going on with Flight Sims for Mac?!

Bad news: Gabe of GSC left the company. He has been programming Hornet for Mac platform. His departure suspends the development of the new Hornet Korea for Macintosh but not Windows version..... (It seems the Windows version will be shipped by the end of November.)

Also I'm wondering what happened to Tom Morrison's Mac Flight Simulators. That page has not been updated for a really long time now......

WarBirds 2 for Macintosh has been delayed too.......

Have you heard that Parsoft's Screamin' Demons is ready? There must be someone who's doing beta test for this........

If you know any Good news about Mac-base flight sims, please let me know!

Wonder if I should mind the Windows now................................. (11/20/97)

On September 15, HPCJ (Hornet Pilots Club Japan), one of the biggest flight-sim user groups in Japan, will be dismissed.

The group will be re-organized as VPCJ (Virtual Pilot Club Japan) and start new activities including some commercial services. I don't know what it will be like but just wonder if they still support Mac users. Since many of its members have been sifting to Windows platform lately, I suspect the new group would be Windows-oriented...... Just wait and see. (8/26/97)

I changed the banner because quite a few friends of mine nudged me of my having got a PPC. Oh yes, I admit that's true and otherwise I can't fly H3. So what do you think of this new one?

If interested, still you can view the previous banner here. (5/13/97)

A friend of mine has hacked the Missions of F/A-18 Hornet 3.0!

He gave me a couple of patches to modify all the training missions. Now my training missions are exclusively for ACM training (i.e. dog fighting)! The funny thing is that you gotta fight against your friendly Hornet Two, Three, Four, and even Five.... Unfortunately those two patches have Japanese dialogs and I'm afraid you cannot understand how to use them. Now I'm asking him if an international version is available. Also I probably ask him to replace poor Hornets to SU27s. Any suggestions? (5/12/97)

Gee, the Hornet 3.0 is released in the states. Life is pretty fast if you don't catch up with it. And I know now I need faster and faster machine..... PPC sucks or Hornet sucks? I heard a bad news too. Is that true Wintel pilots are having better times with Hornet? (4/16/97)

Now the latest version of WWII SkyFighters is 1.3v1. Many changes including new planes, Zero & Corsair! Corsair flies really fast. Go to Bullseye Software's homepage and update yours. (4/16/97)

STRIKE! Missions is still great! Though only you can enjoy those tough missions with Horet 2.0. But I guess it won't be too difficult to hack the new one. A friend of mine has alrady hacked 3.0 and told me that the system is basically same as 2.0! Check sometimes STRIKE! Software's web site. They might post some new missions in the near future.
